Common Questions, Answered

Everything you need to know about working with NextWave — from how we work to what happens after delivery.

The Process

Getting Started & Working Together

How do I get started?
+
Complete our Website Setup Form — it takes about 10–15 minutes and gives us everything we need to start your project. Our team will follow up within 1–2 business days to confirm details.
How long does the website take?
+
Most websites are completed within 7–14 business days from when we receive all your details and materials. Ecommerce projects may take a little longer. We'll give you a specific timeline when your project is confirmed.
What do I need to provide?
+
The intake form guides you through everything. You'll typically provide your business details, the services or products you offer, any existing logo or branding, and any photos or content you want included. The more detail you give us, the better the result.
Can I see a preview before the site goes live?
+
Yes — we always send a preview of your completed website before anything goes live. You can review it and request changes before final delivery.
How many revisions do I get?
+
Every project includes a revision round after initial delivery. We want you to be happy with the result. Major structural changes beyond the agreed scope may be discussed separately.
Technical Questions

Hosting, Domains & Editing

Do I need hosting?
+
Yes — your website needs hosting to be live online. We deliver your completed website files and can advise on reliable hosting options. We're happy to help with setup if needed at no extra charge for standard configurations.
Do I need a domain name?
+
Yes — you'll need a domain (like yourbusiness.com). If you don't have one, we can guide you through registering one. Domain registration typically costs $10–$20/year through providers like Namecheap or Google Domains.
Can I edit my website later?
+
Absolutely. Once delivered, you own your website completely and can make any edits you like. If you're not comfortable editing code, you can use a CMS (if included), hire a developer, or come back to us for updates.
Will my website work on mobile?
+
Yes — every website we build is fully responsive and tested across major screen sizes. Mobile optimization is a standard part of every package, not an optional add-on.
Pricing & Payment

Costs, Refunds & Ownership

Are prices one-time or recurring?
+
All listed prices are one-time fixed fees. There are no monthly subscriptions or ongoing charges attached to the build. Hosting (paid to your provider) is a separate, ongoing cost.
Do I own my website after delivery?
+
Yes — once payment is complete and the project is delivered, you own your website outright. All files, code, and assets belong to you entirely.
Do you build ecommerce websites?
+
Yes. We offer both Basic Ecommerce ($2,497) and Advanced Ecommerce ($3,997) packages. See our pricing page for full details on what each includes.
What is your refund policy?
+
Cancellations before work begins are eligible for a full refund. Once design has started, we handle refunds on a case-by-case basis. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
